Hills and Intervals

7/27 - 12 400m intervals at a 6:40-7 minute pace with 1:15 jog in between

7/28 - HILLS.  Ran 3.5 miles of hills are varying inclines.

I think hills is the missing link to my training.  I have been doing everything else. 200m intevals, 400m intervals, 800m intervals, long runs, fartleks, etc.  I have left out hills just because I don't have any close to my house.  I will not do that anymore and vow to run hills atleast once a week.

I was surprised how winded and fatigued I got from running up a fairly big hill.  I expected the fatigue but not the cardio problems. 

Tomorrow will be my day off.  Heading to Hershey Park with my bro, Kayt, and my cousin.  Saturday morning I'll be at it again.
